Fall in Southeast Coastal Georgia

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”  Albert Camus

Finally we are seeing signs of fall here in Southeast Coastal Georgia!  The leaves are changing and there is a crispness to our year-around breeze and we are loving it.  We have an acre behind the house – sod covers more than half with pretty much sand on the very back quarter – then we have about 6 - 8 feet of wooded land – and the deer have made a path into our backyard but thankfully according to the hoof prints in the sand they are staying towards the back due to the acorns!

There was only one thing wrong when the picture above was taken last week - it was 78 degrees and I was wearing shorts, tank top and flip flops!
